Yaquelin Vergara, BS, MSW, LSW

Yaquelin is dedicated to building authentic, safe, and meaningful connections with her clients as she walks alongside them on their path toward well-being. Prior to earning her Master of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a Pre-Health concentration at Colorado State University.


Yaquelin has clinical experience across diverse settings, supporting survivors of sexual violence at SAVA Center, unhoused youth and families in school systems, and serving as a Mental Health Specialist in the Poudre School District. 


Yaquelin continued her focus on youth and families, she provided specialized grief support at Judi’s House and is approved as a Comprehensive Grief Care Pathfinder Provider. She is training in EMDR. 


Tailoring her approach to each client's unique needs and goals, she integrates diverse therapeutic modalities to create a compassionate space where you feel heard, supported, and reminded that you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone.


Outside of her practice, Yaquelin loves spending time with family and friends, being outside , taking her sassy Husky on walks, watching movies, traveling, and staying curious through learning.


She conducts sessions in English and Spanish.
