The Future Healers EMDR Scholarship is dedicated to increasing the number of highly qualified therapists equipped to treat childhood trauma in underserved communities. This fund supports master’s level interns who are training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and providing vital EMDR therapy to low-income children. Every dollar goes directly to empowers the next generation of trauma-informed therapists. A contribution of $1,350 covers the full cost of EMDR training for one intern, ensuring they receive the specialized education needed to help children heal. Donations of $500 provide a stipend for one month to an intern, supporting their commitment and easing financial barriers during their clinical learning. Monthly donations of $500 for 12 months will sponsor an interns for their entire internship! Smaller donations are gratefully accepted and will be pooled to support both training and stipends.
