Blue Channel Therapy (BCT) is seeking a part-time Clinical Director to help lead the clinical and training operations of our nonprofit EMDR and neurofeedback practice, which serves children, youth, and their caregivers (ages 0–25) across our Arvada, Aurora, and Northglenn offices. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Clinical Director performs all of the duties of a BCT Supervisor —supervising  individual, family, and group therapy; crisis intervention; individual and group supervision. Additionally, leads BCT’s Clinical Internship  program and BCT’s Neurofeedback program.
This is a part-time position of approximately 15 hours per week, compensated at $75 per hour.

Required Qualifications
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Active, unrestricted clinical license in Colorado that permits supervision of interns and unlicensed Able to pass a federal and state background check, which includes fingerprinting.
  • Prepared to, or able to seek help to, manage children who may require crisis prevention and intervention or de-escalation; these activities may be physically strenuous.
  • Attend at least 20 hours of continuing education per year.
  • Working knowledge of Colorado DORA regulations, HIPAA requirements, and professional ethics codes (NASW, ACA, or equivalent) and the Behavioral Health Administration regulations. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, American Sign Language).
  • Previous experience managing an internship or other training programs.master’s-level mental health staff.
  • EMDRIA Approved Consultant status (or working on it).
  • Neurofeedback trained and qualified to lead BCT’s neurofeedback program.
  • At least 5 years of experience providing clinical supervision to master’s-level clinicians, interns, and/or supervisees.
  • Previous therapeutic experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision & Direct Service (Supervisor Duties)
  • Sustain knowledge of professional ethical standards and a commitment to keeping and working within these ethical standards.
  • Interact with all staff, caregivers, and clients in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Attend supervision of supervision meetings. 
  • Complete all required clinical documentation via electronic recordkeeping system within 24 hours.
  • Provide individual and group supervision to interns and externs as needed.
  • Complete regular audits of supervisees’ caseloads.
  • Provide onboarding and training for incoming interns. 
  • Provide supervisory billing for unlicensed staff, reviewing and signing off on all documentation.
  • Provide feedback to supervisees.
  • Lead additional programs as needed
  • Attend and complete required training and meetings.
  • Perform additional job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include administrative tasks.
Intern Program Management
  • Manage BCT’s Clinical Internship programs from recruitment through completion, including posting openings, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews and offers.
  • Onboard new interns, including supervision contracts, disclosure statements, orientation to BCT policies, and university/placement paperwork.
  • Coordinate EMDR basic training for interns and track certification progress toward EMDRIA requirements.
  • Track and manage intern  practice hours, supervision hours, and stipend or payroll schedules in coordination with the Executive Director.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to graduate programs and universities regarding student placements, evaluations, and program requirements.
  • Coordinate group supervision schedules and ensure supervision cadence meets BCT policy.
  • Continually evaluate and improve the intern program to support BCT’s workforce development mission.
  • Support recruitment and coordination of BCT’s clinical supervisor team, including coverage arrangements when a supervisor is unavailable.
Neurofeedback Program Leadership
  • Lead and oversee BCT’s Neurofeedback program across all office locations.
  • Provide neurofeedback training, guidance, and quality oversight to staff and interns providing neurofeedback services.
  • Ensure neurofeedback protocols are delivered safely, ethically, and consistently with BCT’s trauma-informed approach.
  • Help develop and refine neurofeedback policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Track outcomes and support program evaluation for BCT’s neurofeedback services.
Leadership & Compliance
  • Partner with the Executive Director on clinical program planning, quality assurance, and program evaluation.
  • Help ensure BCT’s clinical operations remain compliant with HIPAA, Colorado DORA regulations, EMDRIA standards, Behavioral Health Administration and other applicable ethical and legal requirements.
  • Support maintenance of accurate, HIPAA-compliant client and supervisee records.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating clinical paperwork, disclosure statements, and supervision documentation, in consultation with the Executive Director and/or legal counsel as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive, trauma-informed, and affirming culture for staff, interns, and clients, consistent with BCT’s mission and inclusion commitments.

Supervision
  • The Clinical Director receives periodic administrative consultation with the Executive Director.
  • The Clinical Director leads and/or attends weekly Supervision of Supervision (SOS) meetings with BCT’s supervisor team.
